Gran Turismo 6 on PS3 is better than FORZA Motorsport 5 on XONE

Yes you did read that right.

I am not at all bias as I have owned every version of GT and every version of FORZA and in the past I have always slightly favoured FORZA

Having spent a couple of weeks on FORZA 5 I have realised it again has abit of a BORZA(boring) factor again.

Here in simple terms is why GT6 is in fact more fun and more challenging.

1. More cars, many many more.

2. More tracks, many many more.

3. No rewind button, so you need to tweak and tune your car and actually drive well. Crash on the final bend, your fucked and need to start again. This creates a real sense of achievement and is so much more satisfying. Yes I know you can turn off rewinds but really, nobody does.

4. License tests. I love these and getting gold on each is a real challenge and adds more value and fun.

5. No pissing about having to sell your tuning setups and sell your designs to get all the achievements.

6. GT is like a Racing RPG, they add more and more tracks and cars in as you move forward.

7. You have to reach a basic level of skill in single player before your allowed to unlock the online. This is good as will stop some people who like to just disrupt. Also zero online trophies,so purely optional, but extremely extensive.

8. Not so microtransaction focussed as FORZA, you win a decent amount of money and get rewarded cars more freely. Plus the game itself is of course cheaper 8-)

Overall FORZA is prettier of course being next gen but GT is not that far behind and its simply more fun and at the end of the day GT6 has stopped me playing any PS4 or XONE at all for a few days. Surely that says it all...........

More fun and challenge = better

Can't disagree with what you say! Nice write up and it seems GT 6 is probably superior in most attributes.

Its always a case of the best games of the generation all come at the end. GTA V, Halo 4 and now GT6. Not in everyones opinion but certainly mine.

My name on PSN is ForzaWarrior, the mix of my fave game series Forza motorsport and Dynasty warriors.

Maybe I better change it to DynastyTurismo or GranWarriors (this sounds abit deviant)

Bottom line is though I tell it like it is. Best Racing game of the year and if you like the GT series this is 100% the best ever version.

Even the menus and load times are good this time  

I am hoping Riled finds this thread as he loves Forza as much as me!

On the same note , I don't think I would buy PES anymore.

Forza 5 is a great game but you can tell it was rushed for launch, I think the next one will be amazing
