I was thinking of the true cost of games.
BF4 has now cost me £95. Shocked
What other games do you have that have a massive true cost to keep playing.

I try and avoid buying any DLC at all or any microtransactions as you know they are bending you over.

They simply hold back maps to make money from you.

Only those lying to themselves think its good value.

I bought all the DLC for Halo 4 and regret it HUGELY.

Ha, I bought the MW2 maps when they were on sale for 600msp each. I think I used em twice. Total waste of 1200msp! Cool

Generally though, I don't often bother with DLC unless it's highly recommended or for a game I just can't get enough of.

Micro transactions is not something I can see myself ever getting into - it really just seems like a mugs game to me! Razz

yeah it's a pricy game but worth it I think. Love all the content in the last one so I'll be forking out for premium straight away this time. It's like buying two games.

Factoring in instruments and DLC, I dread to think what I've spent on the Rock Band series....Guitar Hero as well, but nowhere near what I've invested in Rock Band.

I also dropped a fair bit of cash on Skylanders at the start of the year, but most of it was bought via various sales. I've also just been suckered in to Disney Infinity as well. Roughly £60 so far for the game, the "portal" and 6 figures.

In the past i've bought the Season passes for Gears of War, mainly due to playing with so many folk on here.

I've probably spent a fair bit on the Gears games with all the dlc, but I got my moneys worth with how much I played those games. I wish I didn't bother with the Gears Judgment season pass though.

Gears dlc is probably the most I have brought, and usually when it has lowered in price or a season pass.

Got a season pass for saints 3 dlc... Was miffed because literally the day after it all went on sale for less than half what I paid. Doh!
