I never knew money expired!
An email from M$ to say the points on my account have been converted to cash contained this gem
The currency that we have added to your account today must be used by 01/06/2015. However, gift cards you purchase in the future will not expire
Enjoy!

'we have added'?
what for free?
no hang on that was a swap for points I have bought you bastards
note to self
never trust these companies with my cash
20 quid of points lost on my Wii when it was nicked and the big N refuse to credit me cos they are cunts and now M$ will take away my money unless I spend it in their timeframe.
These fake currencies on machines were always dubious.

I had this and don't understand how my money can expire too. Do you think M$ stole my Boardman and youth as well?
Re: I never knew money expired!
To be fair I would expect the majority of people to spend whatever they have on their accounts now within two years. But I will admit that it's not really on when you have bought the MSP which previously didn't have an expiry date.
I once had some Microsoft Points expire too - apparently some MSP from promotions did come with expiry dates, and as I was unaware of this I had 400MSP that passed their expiry date. The worst part was they were there one day and then I came to spend them literally the next day and they were gone. No email to tell you they're going to expire or anything. Microsoft said there was nothing they could do and basically that I should of known they would expire.
