No point in Dying - Limbo

Well its the last achievement I've got to get and I thought I'd post a running commentary on how I do with this. Basically I have to finish the entire game in one sitting with less than 5 deaths. Now its been awhile so I'm playing through it all again first to remind myself of how it goes. I'll update this again once I've finished my first runthrough to let you know how I'm doing

thats my last achievement on Limbo swell, dont think i'll ever get it.

Well I did my first runthrough last night with a grand total of 106 deaths, however this morning I did a 2nd run through and brought it down to 28, of which 15 were on the very last jump. I don't think its going to be too difficult most of the jumps are pretty easy and I made lots of silly mistakes on my second playthrough. The only real tricky parts is the final jump and jumping onto the hotel sign as both of these require precision timing but I think I've mastered the counting, the first hotel sign has a 5 second life cycle, while the second has only 3 seconds. The final jump should be approached on the 4th after the grav switch. I'll try another run through later and see if I can't scrape another few lives off that total.

Woohoo!! On my fifth attempt I did a near perfect run with just one death right at the end. It was nervewracking as hell as every jump was important, if I made one mistake I'd have lost a life. It actually reminded me of the old speccy days when you had a certain number of lives and once they were gone you had to start again. Definitely one of my proudest completions!
