Xbox 360 game boxes

Does anyone else think that game boxes are reduced as in they are making them cheaper made, the last few brand new games I've bought the box seems very delicate, abit warped or doesn't close properly. Let me know if any of you guys have noticed or if I'm just imagining things.

I have noticed a change myself, the first time was in the Duke Nukem Forever box, the plastic was see through almost and a lot thinner. Its not too much of a surprise though, saves the environment and manufacturing costs and companies will be shaving pennies off where they can as development costs go up. It's also the same reason that the points cards have changed their packaging too!!

I'm all for saving the environment but when I'm paying out 40bucks a time for a game I like to look after and I think it helps when the boxes are sturdy. Why not cut down on the size of the boxes instead of making them so flimsy!?

Wouldn't surprise me, with the lack of instructions in most of them the boxes are more or less obsolete now I remember the old days when you would buy an amiga game in a huge box with all kinds of cool trinkets and random things in it like maps and keyrings and even magazines from the game; kind of like the special editions of games nowadays all a bit superfluous really but used to quite cool going into the shops and browsing all of the different big boxes choosing a game instead of rows of identical green ones!

The only reason the boxes are tall like that is to be different from the PS3 ones which are neater and much better.

The best boxes so far are the tiny PS vita ones or N64 boxes were nice and compact and all cardboard for recycling!!

Enviro issues piss me off as nobody really bloody does enough yet!

So Xbox game boxes are taller to distinguish them from PS3 boxes that came out after? Wow - I never knew that!

Yeah the game I got in today was Kingdoms of Amuler Reckoning, Only thing in the box was the disc, and 2 pieces of paper, 1 the warranty and the other was the Evil A online code...
