The Great EA and Tiger Woods 13 rip off!!
I LOVE this game and I like it the best of all the TW titles -- BUT ... I have one Rather large ISSUE:
I bought the Master Collection Ed. = £42.00
Then I see DLC courses Available (11 pack DLC)
So I was going to buy it too UNTIL ... I saw the list of course do NOT include the OTHER 3 DLC courses: Doral, Wolf Creek, and Emerald Dragon.
Let me brake that down for you:
the 3 DLC courses: 1200ms
11 Course DLC pack: 3200ms
Buy both to have ALL: 4400ms = £42.50 (for 5000ms)
So I buy Masters Ed £42.00 + all course £42.50 = £84.50 ???????
so i didnt buy the courses as you dont need them for game completion, but even so, it does force you out of certain in game tournements if you dont have the course.
This to me is a little ridiculous. I know some of you will say "thats EA for you"
Seriously though. Come ON!!!

Re: The Great EA and Tiger Woods 13 rip off!!
I guess there looks like new pricing points for some DLC stuff
Whilst I tend to buy my stuff a few weeks after release to save cash, its tough on early adopters when the prices are this high and even tougher if the large portion of the price is through DLC which is unlikely to reduce in price like discs in shops
This is another reason why I think folks will be reluctant to go from hard copy merchandise to download only, as the big publishers will be able to charge what they like for stuff when they have a closed market.
I know games cost a lot to develop etc, but lets hope that all the big pubs ease up a little on the prices so that we can all enjoy the full features of a game without being hurt too much in the pocket

AS much as we hate EA, I was reading a feature today and the only way game companies are surviving are on the first 3 months worth of sales (if that) and then DLC to support it. I'll post a link below but it does have some great points. I do remember paying £30 brand new for a game and that was before pre-owned kicked off. As I always say if you buy cheap something has to give somewhere!

This is utterly shocking.
EA are such a mixed bag, Kingdom of Amular is superb with great additional DLC, but this years Tiger is shocking.
Seems too me that the sports games are the worst offenders
