I Challenge YOU! (yes you, no not you the guy behind you, yes you)

I apologise for my lack of compo running lately but work has been a bitch.

But I thought of an idea you lot may or may not like.

Find someone on your own or similar score. Or someone who is a similar distance from a score milestone to you, or even just someone you want to beat.

Then issue them with a challenge to race them to the target.

Say I was on 92000 and I saw someone on 142000 I might issue a challenge for me to get to 100K before they reached 150K or something like that.

If the other person picks up the guantlet then you both can keep us abreast of how you are faring, along with plenty of cheers and jeers from everyone else.

No pressure for anyone to accept or decline any challenge but I thought this might be a way for folks to get a bit of extra motivation to hit the ach trail big style.

Prizes will be bragging rites and of course if you get your sorry ass soundly beaten then there is always the shout of REMATCH!

I, gamertag challenge you gamerslag to a duel....

I will get to 60000 before your weedy total reaches 45000

See you on the battlefield.

Anything like that will do and feel free to hurl banter at your adversary (just remember to win though otherwise there will be much encouraged retribution!)


Best challenge/victory/rematch/banter will be randomly awarded a prize by me as we progress.

This could be just what I need to get me back into the swing.....haven't even switched my xbox on since monday.

You have just given me another idea.

We could all buy or rent the same game that none of us has played before and have a race to get 100!

I like both ideas. I might actually have to figure out how to get my gamercard on here so people can see my score!

I willl assume this is based on the original 1000 and not DLC and so I accept your puny test and look forward to meeting you on the battleground.

Kent's Idea has peaked my interest too as I'm not a general scorewhore but I do like my 1000G's could be fun as long as the game isn't rubbish

If the game is total botty water then it makes it more of a challenge on who can fully 1000 it, and seeing who can do it without the least ammount of puking and moaning lol

Both excellent ideas! I've learnt not to challenge people on GSA! I've taunted GOTD, Tenlo and Stubbs before now, and they all went on massive scoring rampages and kicked my arse! :-(

But hey, I never learn! Bring it on!
