Minecraft: Education Edition coming to Xbox
Xbox has acquired MinecraftEdu which is a version of Minecraft made for the classroom. A genius idea that shows that Minecraft has almost unlimited potential. It will be launching in the summer and no doubt will also be a standalone PC program (schools won't want it if it's advertised as a game).

How long do you think it'll be till kids are playing Minecraft: Education Edition in school?

Re: Minecraft: Education Edition coming to Xbox
My other half a boy gets 'term' projects based on various things. His last one was natural disasters. One of the options was to creat natural disasters and the effects of them in minecraft! He made a volcano, flood and earthquake test zones and we did screen shots of before and after, then printed them out for school.
He would love this if they'd d it in school.
