Microsoft Working on Solution to Let Users Purchase Xbox 360 Games on Xbox One

Backward compatibility for Xbox 360 games on Xbox One is great, but there is one teeny tiny snag. You can't actually buy Xbox 360 titles directly from the Xbox Games Store on Xbox One, which also means having to find other ways of downloading you free Xbox 360 Games with Gold each month.

You also need to have a credit card attached to your Xbox Live account to download your free games, even though they cost nothing. Having gift card credit in your account also doesn't enable you to download free games, as the system demands a payment option.

Thankfully, Microsoft is looking into a workaround for this very problem, with Xbox boss Phil Spencer telling one enquiring fan on Twitter: "We've heard this request and we are working on a solution." Hopefully that means we'll be able to purchase Xbox 360 games on Xbox One soon.

Good news, I usually go onto xbox.com., but it would obviously be far better to go through my Xbone.

I think they'll get this one sorted quite quickly as it benefits them as much as us from a sales point of view

There's a few Xbox 360 games I'd like to get onto my Xbox one.

I would like the 360 games hidden from the X1 games, bloody annoying seeing all these games I completed haunting me on X1 dashboard.
