XBOX ONE worse in nearly every way than your XBOX 360

One day we will slowly patch things up and make them almost but not quite as quick and good as they used to be.

Its a 5 year program to make everything nearly but not quite as good as it was before.

Just so we can make you use the metro interface and have everything hidden within an app that none of you actually want!

Also we will make you use the shitty kinect that we have nailed our mast too, even though we have no games for it that anything other than an 8 yr old girl will ever want to wave about too.

Kinect, we have all our eggs in your basket and we are determined to make sure the PS4 wins this Gen battle by forcing it onto you.

We saw how shitty the PS3 was online and how difficult to party up or chat with anyone was, so we decided to copy that model.
We have also decided to copy their PS Plus system with our amazing games with gold,except we are offering the oldest old chuff we can find and we are also managing to offer you less than half the amount of games each month.

Yes I am confident we have made a product abit worse than a PS3 and alot fucking worse than a 360.

it is early days but its the first bit of non Nintendo next gen kit I have been disappointed with for ages

I really do not understand why this and the PS4 were pushed out of the door so early without any games ready and the OS so raw

Not having chat on by default in Party Chat summed it up for me.

Yes the updates will put right some of the clangers but I do feel cheated being an early adopter and that's rare for me as I normally am just kid in candy shop wide eyed for new tech that faults are just ignored

I find the paucity of titles amazing and the ones that are out there are just dull

Forza is just dull and no eye candy is going to mask that fact

Not being to switch it on and have it sign me in automatically is beyond belief
Even the non entity that is the Wii U is not that dense

Not sure what happened at Microsoft but instead of ploughing their own furrow which they did with ridiculous success, they seem to want to be Apple. App this and App that is just not conducive to the way I like my gaming console to be.

The disaster that is Windows 8 seems to permeate everything they do when what they should have done is put their hands up and say its poor. Instead they continue to push this substandard OS into their phones tablets and consoles.

The games with gold is a dreadful imitation of psplus and saying things like 'well the games are yours not rented etc' is as embarrassing as the titles they select.

I am sure someone will take the helm and steer the ship away from the TV streaming app laden rubbish that the Bone is at some point, but until then I guess we need to embrace any updates as being a good thing and pray that an actual gamer gets into a position of power in Seattle soon.

Mmm depends how you look at it. Yeah the Xboxone missing some features from the 360. The 360 take ages to boot up, takes ages to go to your friends list, takes ages to go to the dashboard, basically it takes ages to go anywhere you want to go on your 360.
I like the fact I can still play my game and see the latest results in football. I also like the fact I can just pause the game watch a bit of tv then go straight back into my game where I left off. Yeah I hardly use the camera for the kinnect but I do use the mic alot to go from one place to another. People are different, am I the only person in here to like the Xboxone UI, I never had a problem with it. I get the impression you really don't like the Xboxone, which is fair enough. I enjoy my Xboxone :-)

I don't have a problem with UI, ok so i'm not particularly bothered about Kinect, but i do use the microphone to sign in and navigate some of the menu's. And yes they cocked up on the Party chat and the Achievements feed. But since i don't really use apps (and didn't on the 360 either) as long as i can launch the games, and play them, then i'm happy.

There is still a shortage of quality titles available, but i have enjoyed everything i've played so far, well except for Killer Instinct, but then i've never been that into fighting games.

Ok Forza is very repetitive, and can get boring fast, but it looks stunning, and the cars drive and handle very well.

Really enjoyed AC Black Flag, looks great and i think its the most fun AC i've played yet.

Tomb Raider Def Edition, is great too, the graphics and effects are brilliant, and it has one of the most gripping intros i've ever played.

Titanfall, is very polished and great fun to play, either for half an hour or long sessions.

So you can keep your Pissy4 or your Ninty Wee on U, i'm sticking with Xbox One.

When you compared side by side the UI and the console itself the PS4 wins hands down, even the controller is great with a speaker in it.

I am tied to my gamerscore though and we are all still pretty much Gamescore Addicts and XBOX fanboys.

This is why I feel so letdown by microsoft.

If I was starting fresh now to consoles I would 100% stick with Sony, PS3, PS4 and Vita with PS plus.

You get so many free games every month only a retard or very wealthy person would pick the XBOX with is bigger console, worse UI, terrible customer service and constant backtracking.

I buy all consoles and always will do, as I love to play all games.

I am a XBOX fanboy but I find myself questioning this loyalty more and more.

Its good to talk, we need more playstation owners on here to balance us all out.

If you don't own the PS4 then your just burying your head in the sand as its clearly the better system in every single way.

The deciding factor in the long run will be games, but my guess is both will have stellar must have exclusives, so best to own both

I know what you say is right but I like gears and halo games. I waited to see what the people I spend most of my time with online chose as next gen, they all chose Xbox and so my choice was made.

Sony may well be winning the battle, and they may win the war, but i won't be getting one anytime soon. As i can only really justify owning one next gen console and buying games for it. I have considered a Vita a few times, but don't think i'd actually use it enough.

If my Xbox one goes bang then i'll make a decision then about replacing it or switching. But in all honesty i'll probably stick with the Bone and the games i've already got.

I don't consider myself to have my head in the sand, wether any other system is better or not is now irrelevant since i have an Xbox one already. And i'm not prepared to blow hundreds of pounds on another manufacturers console and games unless i have to.

I always wanted the next xbox rather than playstation. For me it's not about which is better, it is about my friends. Nearly all my friends have stayed with xbox and I want to be able to continue to game with them, this was my main choice. I would have waited longer to get it, for them to sort the kinks out etc, but to be honest it would be unlikely I would have had the money to buy one in the future had I not have got it when I did.

So for me it's the social side, not the pissing contest that ms and sony seem to be embariking on at the moment.

If I had gone with a PS4 I would have missed out on all of the awesomeness which is here and the games we have all played together (especially titanfall)

I love all my consoles equally, sure there are a few things on xbox one and ps4 that need to be improved but its early days and these things are going to be under our TV's for years to come I'm looking forward to many years of quality gaming from them!

Just want to check you know I am trying to get you all talking about it right??

The Playstation 2 is arguably the best console ever released. The sheer number of units sold and the amazing library of diverse and innovative games released on the platform make the current and last gen consoles look like mugs.

Hopefully, the bone and ps4 can reach such heady heights. We need to egg on all platforms to be the best they can which will mean more fun for us gamers.

I love all consoles. All i care about are the games. The games maketh the platform. The problems, i can mostly deal with so long as they continue to improve and iron out the kinks and release top games.
