Titanfall
Now we have had this game for a few days what do you all make of it?
have you had any trouble with connections lagging etc?
I have enjoyed the game so far, have managed to collect quite a few of the achievements.
I love droping the Titans on other players also finding wall hanging in rooms is a good way to stay out of the way.
I have not any trouble with game connections and lagging so far.
The game graphics look good and runs smooth. Think it has a short shelf life as it will get boring quite quickly as it is very much the same in all game modes, but then so is the COD franchise.

Re: Titanfall
Still loving it, the session we had was awesome not managed to drop a titan on anyone yet, looks like it would be pretty hard to do though

Re: Titanfall
Keep plodding but I don't know how long for. Your right I think it will have a short shelf life.
Re: Titanfall
Enjoying it so far. Haven't tried all the game modes yet though. Graphics are mostly good, but there are odd bits that look a bit naff (not enough to worry about though), still have no idea what the storyline plot is either.
I agree about the shelf life probably being fairly short, but then it depends what they do with the DLC thats bound to be coming soon.
I just hope there is still enough people playing it when i come back off holiday lol.

Re: Titanfall
Am enjoying this so far, completed the Militia campaign and also played a few other game modes. The graphics look very good. So far I've not had any connection problems and everything seems to be running smoothly and looking forward to playing some more.

Re: Titanfall
great to see you enjoying it
bit concerned that there is already short shelflife comments just a day after launch
Probably a danger with a title with no sp storyline I guess

Re: Titanfall
I disagree with comments about short shelf life. Respawn have a plan for some free dlc as well as the paid add ons. I am sure there will be plenty added to freshen the game up over time.

Sadly not. I will have a look tonight. Sure it was announced by Respawn on Twitter a week or so ago when the season pass was announced.

Re: Titanfall
On the Review on IGN, I believe they talk about the first Download and it will be free. More like a patch though, that allows full team v team play...and a few other Issue about game-play.
Not played much of the campaign, but the ability to get on play for 10 mins or 4 hour works well with me...so far really enjoying it!

Re: Titanfall
Enjoying it so far. Although Campaign mode seems a bit naff to me what with not being able to pick what side you are on.

Re: Titanfall
once you play through it once mate, it will automatically put you on the opposite side, as for later if you are trying to get the achievements, i am not too sure tbh

Re: Titanfall
I am loving the game. I was amazed how the connection ran smooth when I played it over the weekend, no lag or anything like that. Most of the maps are great too. I think it will become dead when Destiny comes out. I hope Destiny uses MS servers tho cause Titanfall rans so smooth but I don't think it will.

Once you finish both campaigns, you can choose to replay specific levels, but not choose which side your on.

Re: Titanfall
Does people still play the campaign mode when they finish the campaign? I don't and it going to be a pain to get a win in every campaign level as IMC pilot or Militia pilot achievements. I only do hardpoints for easy xp or the mixed variety mode.

Re: Titanfall
You can choose a specific campaign level and itll usually take you straight to a lobby. Just quit out if you're not om the right team and rejoin and itll eventually put you on the needed team. Annoyingly theres now ways to see which levels you've already won so need to keep note of which ones you need.

Had some good games last night. Even though we only won one match all the games were enjoyable and I was never fed up with playing. Really getting into this.

Re: Titanfall
As soon as i found about the win every campaign level as both factions cheevo, i wrote them all down on a notepad, and have been ticking them off as i get them. So far i've got 3 done on IMC and 4 on the Militia.
Bear in mind there is a cheevo for playing 50 campaign levels too, so chances are you won't have many left to get by then.
