L.A Noire - New Rockstar Game

First topic message reminder :

The new game from rockstar looks pretty good and the facial animations look brilliant.

Wow this looks even more immense than I first thought

this looks like an awesome game i am gonna wait for the price to drop a little no doubt it will be cheaper by xmas

I'm still not too sure about this game, probably a rental for me.

I really can't wait for this game. From what i've seen so far it looks quite impressive. Hopefully be pre ordering soon!

Just to give you an idea on the size of the game Rockstar have confirmed it'll run to three discs on the xbox 360. Even with three discs they have had to turn some of the game into DLC. Now I am not arguing that size = quality but I always get a bit excited by games that run over multiply discs.

Apparently there will be minimal disc swappage, just twice during natural mission breaks

wow this does make me want this game more but was a bit gutted when it said that the game is only single player is this right?

i want the game but with so much to play and dirt 3 on the way dont think that i will get time. I may wait on this and get it later in the year

I'm really looking forward to checking this out, got my pre order in yesterday lets hope they have done a good job with it!

Is it just me thats getting fed up with paying full price for half a game then having to pay extra to download all the DLC to complete it?

It is a bit annoying, depends on how the DLC is done though if its reasonably priced and adds value to the game then I don't mind but nearly every game churns out some DLC these days and a lot of it is a very questionable in quality

The reviews have started coming in and they're all positive. It does look like a must-have game, but I might wait a month or so and see if there's a price drop. I got Dead Space 2 for 1/2 price after about a month!

Really looking forward to this now, I've read one review but I think I'm going to avoid reading any more and just enjoy the game and discover it for myself

I've got this on pre-order and it will be the game I will be playing over the weekend (hopefully) - I'm really looking forward to it

I've got it preordered too with any luck it will show up on or before Friday as I have to drive the length of the country and back to attend a meeting for work so it will be nice to have something to look forward too when I get home

you only have to look at how the price didn't drop for red dead so im going to guess that the latest rockstar game will hold its value just as well (just my opinion)

I would agree. I can also see it being in short supply at times which will kepp the price up. A week or so after Rd Dead came out it was near impossible to get hold of for about 2 weeks. Everyone is always expecting there games to be a GTA game in disguise

this being a rockstar game was always gonna be must buy for me, looks bloody amazing. I hope Shopto live up their promise of next day

This looks truly superb and i'm sure it will be! I wonder if the birthday present fairy has seen this!

Had a quick go on it today and it left me even more excited for playing it properly. Damn Rockstar, even staff have been banned from buying it early due to them taking embargos very seriously

Just got a parcel in the post, that I wasn't expecting at all.

Opened it and it was from Rockstar games in america. Apparently I've won an LA Noire tshirt and sticker pack. I don't even remember entering lol.
