R.U.S.E. is a real-time strategy video game developed by Eugen Systems and published by Ubisoft which was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, in September 2010. R.U.S.E. is a strategy game with systems, intended to be superior to a brute force approach. Instead these systems will focus on information warfare. Players can use a series of ruses and decoys to trick their enemies and change the outcome of the battles

Alright people, it's a Halloween based comp. Tell me your best ghost story and the winner will be the one that scares the living crap out of me the most

Technically not a ghost story but it scared the cack outta me.

My cousin was seeing a girl a few years ago who was really into owning reptiles, snakes in particular.
She decided to get a pet python who she got so attached to after a years or so she let it sleep in bed next to her. She noticed after a while that he started to be completely straight,stiff and ridged every morning as she woke. She took him to the vet's thinking there was something wrong with him. The vet said "for god sakes do not ever put a python in your bed!! As you sleep the snake is measuring itself against your body to see if he is big enough to swallow and digest you"

When I was 16 I used to go ice skating every Friday but thIs one Friday I missed my last bus so had to get a different bus that dropped me about a mile away from my house, where I got off the bus is a big open area with large bush formations dotted here and there with ot much light either any how as I was walking one of the bushes started to shake and a loud growling noise the bushes were proper moving I swear iv never ran so fast I didn't stop running till I was in the house it proper s!!t me up to this day Iv no idea what it was but I don't take that route home any more.
Thisis not made up either.

One chilly winter evening, I was in my friend's village and some members of one terrace were having an evening stroll with a few of the kids. A lady from the church had organised the outing in the snow. There were three kids, two boys and a girl and five adults strolling along. They all left the church across from my mate's house as we were stood talking outside.

After a quick jaunt round the village, we all stood talking for a while, until one chap started asking where the little girl was that had been walking with the two boys. Nobody could see the girl anywhere, and I certainly got chills down my spine when the two boys were adamant that at no point had there been a little girl with them.

Turns out that this mysterious young girl has been seen several times playing with groups of children in the areas around the church. It is believed she is a child who's life was taken at such an early age some years ago and is buried in the church cemetery. The only thing that strikes you about her is her slightly old fashioned attire.

I went to America (chicago) earlier this year to see my pen pal who I've known for about 13 years, and she's into the paranormal and all that stuff, and one of the things we did while I was there, was go round a haunted mausoleum...

Things were going ok, until we were walking down a certain corridor, every time we would walk under a light, the one in front of us would flicker... it only happened that time of walking down the corridor, and no other time! Also whilst looking at a few of the private rooms deep in the basement of the building, we both heard a voice say "embrace me" coming frmo one of the rooms behind us, yet there was noone there... Certain spooked me a bit!

Also, later that day we went round a haunted cemetery called "Bachelors Grove" which is also famous as the lake around the outside, was rumoured to be one of Al Capones body dumping locations... I was stood looking into the lake and I felt someone push me, as if to shove me in to the lake.. I turned around and noone was there, but my friend was about 20 feet away to my side and she saw my body jerk forward!

Spooky stuff!

That's pretty chilling Stu! My mum used to get pushed at the top of her stairs years ago! I don't know what i'd do if that happened to me!
