It's over...

So the competition is finally over and we are now hit with everyday life and sore blistered thumbs...

Is there anything you wish you had done differently for the comp?

Personally I wrote out tons of lists and to be honest I nearly hit my target that I'd set BUT I hit it using completely different games. Barley any of the games I had originally lined up got played (due to a friend lending me a pile of 9 games I’d never touched before… and wish I never had lol)... so I didn't really stick to plan.
I wish I'd also managed my time a bit better and gone for the short and easy mop up cheevs first... On the plus side I still have about another 7000 cheevs floating around because I didn't pick them up as planned so might hold off playing again till the next cop haha

And last but not least THANK YOU EVERTON!!!! For arranging the comp and all the work you've done monitoring us/ data base work etc. Your a GSA Star!

Yep.....full marks to Everton....been a quality week!

I kinda wish I'd saved a few of the quick easy ones for last, so I could get about 3k in a day .

I wish I didn't play Jumper.

And I wish that I had it in me too stick out some of the crappy games so I got more points.

Finally, I wish companies wouldn't release games like Jumper, Hannah Montana and Truth or Lies, ever again.

Aye I completely agree with the kudos to Everton for an absolute awesome and fun competition, double helpings of Awesome Sauce for the man himself.

I pretty much stuck to my plan and it worked out pretty well. MY only regret as it always is with GS comps is my refusal to play easy 1000's. If I had allowed myself to do so, I would have absolutely stormed the comp I'm sure. On the plus side my back log of XBLA titles has had a sever dent put in it, plus I think I can see me hammering some more Arcade games on in the small comp between myself, Colne and GOTD.

I had in my head I wanted to get to 80k and I hit that target. But kudos to everyone who played but I think I'm done with the Whoring for a wee while now lol

I completed the campaign on both medal of honour and battlefield bad company 2 both I had put off for ages so this comp was the perfect opportunity to sort them out

Yeah cheers for the comp Everton. I did enjoy it for the most part. Even though the games were utter shite, I enjoyed the competition. GotD was a very formiddable opponent

I dunno what to do with myself now . I wanna play xbox, but I also don't because I still only have crap games to play lol. Need to send all these easy rentals back to get some new ones.

Yep, thanks again Everton for letting me join at the last minute, it was a great comp. I do still have Jumper to play, but i think ive been put off even loading it into my xbox.

Lol at midlife... sounds like a plan considering what the others have said about it.

Now sat waiting for the results patiently... though my break is about to be over so will have to try and get GSA up on my phone so I can sneak a peek (hope my new phone will let me lol)

firstly big respect to everton great idea and really got the site going again everyone involved and its all the conversations were pretty much all week

I kinda had a goal for myself to get more completions and get a few more points really i managed both four new completions and lots more points to add. I have a few more games that I did not manage to get through and I kinda have the bug for this now and wanna get to 75k for crimbo heres hoping

I'm just glad I threw in the towel when I did, only completed one of my easy titles so still got loads lined up for the next competition!

I wish I'd managed to get some more easy 1000 point games, not so much to have been up at the top but just cos I'd have liked to seen my score jump more, but could I rent any of them... no way!
I've really enjoyed it, last night I was trying to get myself to play some more proper games but I just didn't have the motivation :$

Aye huge thanks to Everton for this, been a lot of fun and the chat on here has been cool. I think next time might try it with a lot of 1000 point games from my rental list, just not the RPG ones!! Now just to go top that 200 leaderboard!!

I had a plan, and it got dumped, because i went out and raided the 2 for £20 isle of gamestation.. and even then i got stupid collect-a-thon games.. Seen a mate of mine n Jaded (Altered Edge) playing Toy story 3.... he must be more brain dead than me to get the cheebles he has from it.... hate him for it lol but i get bored easily, and i don't like being bored.

And it didn't help i got heavily into Full house Poker (and losing Alll my fkin money to fkin morons who don't know how to play and go all in, just to get lucky with a pair of 2.... calm Pete.... calm....No!! Arrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh!!! )

Ok fine now.. just lol
Think i'll be spending another week on it to boost my moneys back up on it before resuming normality.. or some form of it at least
