Pokken Game Modes, Playable Characters and Catch Up
The date is set all you pokemaniacs 18th March, the first Pokemon game to grace the Wii U is nearly here and it's a fighting game developed by Namco and I'm here to remind you all about it and add new details.
Chandelure is the most recently announced playable character, an interesting choice for a fighting game, I look forward to seeing the variety between all the different characters.

The character roster in the Namco Bandai developed Pokemon fighter has grown well, now up to 16 playable characters and more support characters, such as recently announced sets, Cubone & Diglett, Magneton & Quagsire and Espeon & Umbreon.
As of now Chandelure, Blaziken, Charizard, Gardevoir, Gengar, Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu, Pikachu Libre, Sceptile, Shadow Mewtwo, Suicune, and Weavile, Mewtwo, Garchomp and Braixen are all playable. Only 16 and two pikachus seems a waste to me Blastoise seems like an obvious missing Pokemon as does Meowth especially if we had the Team Rocket Meowth as he could provide some great comedy for the game.
The game mode list is ramping up nicely as well with all your usual battles, single, multiplayer, online friendly and ranked and lan battle mode between two Wii U systems to keep 60fps. I honestly have taken my Wii U to a friends house before and to Streetpass events so I'm really happy for this addition.
There will also be practice mode, free training, combo dojo (to learn combos) and my town (a mode to custom your character).
What sounds like the main attraction for single player modes is Ferrum League, which takes place in Ferrum and consists of 4 leagues, Green League, Blue League, Red League and Chrome League.

The big disappointing news is that there will be no dlc (sad face) as everyone is going to have Pokemon they wanted in this game missing it is a real shame Nintendo or Namco have decided to go against the modern trend of a kabillion dlcs in a game that would actually suit it well.
Do you want to see Pokemans fight to the death (or knockout) in real time?
