Here's the latest ten Xbox One/360 Backward compatible games

Post  ScotsGamerGeek on Thu Jan 21, 2016 4:38 pm

Microsoft have released the next batch of games in the monthly compatible games list.  They have also included The Witcher 2 as a freebie.

- The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings
- Sam & Max Save the World
- Aegis Wing
- Counter-Strike: GO
- Age of Booty
- Space Giraffe
- Soulcalibur
- Skullgirls
- Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad
- Small Arms

Extra News: Microsoft have released a press release late last night that said the company announced that backwards compatible games would now be released as soon as they have "received the engineering and publisher stamp of approval", rather than being held back for release as a bundle each month.

I might give The Witcher 2 a go, nothing else takes my fancy. I hope they make Mass Effect 2 and 3 backwards.

Yeah a bit of a poor list again. But I might try the Witcher also.

Sad how the focus seems to be mainly on pushing out a creaking back catalogue of some of the poorer 360 releases and ID Xbox games that wouldn't look out of place 20 years ago. I think it's mainly due to development time for AAA titles (years then I blow through it in a week and need something else to occupy me Rolling Eyes ) and gamer's reluctance to step away from COD and FIFA sequels which generate huge sums for publishers.

Thanks for the list, Witcher 2 will now come off my 360 HDD to save space !
