Games With Gold Announced For October

On the Xbox 360, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (Xbox 360) will be available from October 1st through October 15th. Those who took advantage of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes being available on the Xbox One via GWG back in August will now have a prime stacking opportunity. For the remainder of October, The Walking Dead (Xbox 360) - all five episodes, will be available via Games With Gold.

On the Xbox One side, Valiant Hearts: The Great War will be available throughout the month, while The Walking Dead, including all five episode and the "400 Days" expansion, will be available from October 16th to November 15th. For those paying attention to such things, this means you can stack both Walking Deads if you've somehow managed to play neither already.

As noted above, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will still be available for a couple more weeks. September's GWG offering, Crysis 3, will revert to not-free status after September 30th, so make sure to pick it up during the next week or so!

I think I will get the walking dead again as I only played through that on the 360 and it was amazing! Anyone who hasn't played it yet should get it! Never has a game made me cry like that did, I really enjoyed it, it really dragged me in !

Already got all those games but on opposite formats so not sure whether or not to add them to the stockpile or not.

Not sure I can stomach playing through Walking Dead again. I had a real topsy turvy relationship with that game. Some days I loved it, others I found it monotonous as hell. There's no doubt it moves you with the moral decision making though.

Will pick up Valiant Hearts got everything else though. All in all though it is a good bunch of games

Just valiant hearts for me as played both versions of walking dead. And got xb1 version of metal gear still to play, might download it tho, just to add to stockpile

Thanks for the info Kent, bit rubbish in a way that they keep doubling up like that. The 360 has such a huge back catalogue of games that they could easily pick something different to what's given on the One.

Oh well, a good selection regardless, will definitely grab everything I don't have, and will look forward to playing TWD again in future as it was an awesome game!

Without me googling it, does anyone know off the top of their head if the achievement list is identical in both 360 and One versions of TWD?

I think I've only done the first episode TWD on 360, but I'm not a big fan to be honest.

Being the scorewhore I am though I'll probably download them for the easy points.
