So yesterday, during a panel event at the San Diego Comic-Con, Xbox and The Coalition shared insights on the development of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition to all the fans,

In addition, speakers at the panel revealed the Xbox One Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle, available for pre-order from today! and it’s launching in the UK on 21st August (the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition digital code will allow fans to pre-install the game ready for launch day on 28th August). So no you won’t be geting the game 7 days before release.

The bundle will be available at select retailers and includes an Xbox One 500GB Console, an Xbox One Wireless Controller featuring a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, a full digital game download of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, early access to the 2016 Gears of War 4 Multiplayer Beta, the Superstar Cole multiplayer skin, and a 14-day Xbox Live trial to play with all of our friends.

I know the bit about 5 new campaign chapters is definitely sold me on the idea.

Surprised it isn't the 1TB version of the console but it looks like both Microsoft and Sony are only doing the special editions in 500GB, maybe to get rid of stock.

The 5 chapters are from the PC port which I have not played but it wasn't enough for me to buy by itself, though considering it looks like a fair number of people will be interested in gaming nights for this game I will be picking the game up.

I actually think its a tad overpriced... I will stick with my current one and just buy the game I think.

Not exactly a rip off as it is intended for new people.

I don't expect a gears Limited edition until gears 4 comes out

I hope they don't do a Halo 5 Guardians Xbox as I'll end up depending more money.

Oh, I'd be all over a Gears limited edition one... but Gears 4 is ages away. Normal one will have to do until then.
