BBC Iplayer confirmed for xbox one

Good news, fans of nature documentaries and soap operas based in fictional East London boroughs - after a long silence, the BBC has confirmed that its iPlayer app will finally be coming to the Xbox One just in time (presumably) for the Doctor Who Christmas Special.
In a blog post that covered the status of BBC iPlayer across different connected TVs, the corporations executive product manager Marcus Parnwell took the opportunity to address a few of the most frequently asked questions he receives. One of these questions read thusly: "You said Xbox One was coming soon - any update there?"
To which Parnwell replied: "Yes. I am happy to announce that we're aiming to launch new BBC iPlayer on Xbox One by the end of this year."

Yeah, I am guessing its a case of the xbox live gold wall maybe
