Weekly Compo part 2 The Omen!

Okay in a break from guess the prize today we have a proper guess summat else quiz


The prize is a fabulous Zyxel NAS drive which you can pop in a HDD and have a great media server for your house. Its brand new and never been out the box. I went for a different NAS route shortly after buying it and so its surplus like so much stuff in my life!


To win you need to guess the following


The robbers took all of my lenses for my 3 semi pro cameras.

What was the total focal length stolen lol!

So say if you thought I had a 50mm lens and a 200mm lens then you would guess 250mm


I had a lot more than that I can tell you!

On the zooms I shall take the long end for the calculation

To help with your wild guesses I had 14 lenses stolen and the answer is between 1250 and 2500

Closest by end of play tomorrow wins unless someone guesses right earlier

I will go with 2250mm although I know nothing about camera so this is a complete stab in the dark!

Another great compo Everton, but I don't even know what a NAS drive is or what the hell I'd do with it, I'm not gonna guess. (it would probably only end up in the attic).

A Networked Attached Storage device can be described most basically/easily as a hard drive storage area where you can put all your music and films and pictures etc. It attaches to your router so these files are available throughout your home on any device that supports DNLA or such like. So if you had all these files on your pc say, you could copy them to the NAS and then you could still have access to your music etc even when you pc was off

It can also be used as a back up drive to protect your data

Everyone should have one lol

Ah that would be handy as hell in our household as we store a lot of stuff on our main laptop and our daughter can't access it as Microsoft's home network software is a nightmare to process. I'll guess 1666 even though lenses don't go to 1 mm settings its also the title of a great comic i've been reading recently involving zombies and London!

My brain is telling me that you must have had a range of lenses for all situations, so i'm taking a completely blind guess that you had a couple of 35's, also 40,50,15,70,80,90,180,200,300,400, and a 500mm! Don't know why!! That's only 13 lenses which leaves one, but I'll stick to that figure!!

This might all be complete balls, don't really know that much about cameras!
